Oil Pressure Sensor CH12653 KRP1699 is purpose-engineered for the mechanical-injection Perkins 4.236, T4.236 and AT4.236 turbocharged diesel engines (4.0 L), as well as the later 1004-40, 1004-40T, 1006-60 and 1104D series that share the same block layout. These engines continue to serve agricultural tractors, combine harvesters, generator sets and industrial machinery worldwide, where reliable lube-pressure feedback is crucial for warning systems and automatic engine protection shutdown.

Technical specifications:

Thread 1/8-27 NPT, hex 19 mm, overall body length 52 mm. The unit combines a piezo-resistive sensor element covering 0 to 10 bar (0–145 psi) with a calibrated switch point at 0.25 ± 0.15 bar, delivering both an analogue 0.5–4.5 V signal and a ground-switching warning contact to the instrument cluster or ECU.

Material & performance features:

The housing is precision-machined from corrosion-resistant brass and nickel-plated to withstand prolonged exposure to engine-oil additives and road salt. The sensing diaphragm is laser-welded 316L stainless steel, providing burst pressure >35 bar and eliminating potential leak paths. Electronics are fully encapsulated in a high-temperature epoxy within a glass-reinforced PPS over-mould, delivering immunity to 30 g continuous vibration and 100 g mechanical shock.
