Application:
Water Temperature Sensor 2848A127 is developed for the Perkins 1100 Series engines—1103C-33, 1103C-33T, 1103D-33, 1103D-33T, 1104C-44, 1104C-44T, 1104C-44TA, 1104D-44 and 1104D-44TA turbo-charged diesels (3.3 L to 4.4 L). These engines drive Massey Ferguson 2400/3400/5400 utility tractors, MF 5700 SL orchard models, mid-range combine harvesters, 50–120 kVA generating sets, plus compact wheel loaders, skid-steer loaders and 7- to 14-ton hydraulic excavators used throughout agricultural, construction and rental fleets worldwide.
Technical specifications:
Thread interface M14 × 1.5 parallel with 19 mm hex and 18 mm probe reach for direct insertion into the cylinder-head coolant gallery. Sensing range –40 °C to +140 °C via a precision NTC thermistor calibrated 2 500 Ω @ 20 °C, 300 Ω @ 80 °C, 120 Ω @ 110 °C, tolerance ±2 %. Electrical interface is a two-pin sealed Deutsch DT04-2P connector, IP67 rated, vibration-resistant to 50 g, overall sensor length 52 mm, weight 46 g.
